KIROBO uses a DC to DC converter unit especially made for KIROBO to convert the electrical voltage of16V supplied from the ISS to 7.5V before using it to move.

This power requirement assemblage experiment provided electricity in an environment similar to reality, to check if KIROBO will function properly. The experiment was conducted using an apparatus simulating the power requirement of MSPR (Multi-Purpose Small Payload Rack). As a result we confirmed that KIROBO operated without any problems and cleared the test.
