A final check was conducted at the University of Tokyo, Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology to ensure perfection. KIROBO has cleared 13 tests so far, and was checked thoroughly. All clear. There was a spontaneous applaud from all the staff members.
At a later date, KIROBO was transferred to JAXA at Tsukuba Space Center. KIROBO’s exterior was checked, his weight measured, and was packaged carefully in the Cargo Transfer Bag (CTB) to be loaded on the rocket. The next thing KIROBO will see will be the interior of the ISS.
KIROBO will finally fly into space, carrying all our hopes on its tiny back.
