Thank you to everyone
who supported the KIBO ROBOT PROJECT.

Robot astronaut KIROBO has returned to Earth and has been traveling all over Japan with his back-up crew MIRATA. Together they visited Nagoya, Fukuoka, Morioka, Sapporo, Kobe and Hiroshima where they took part in a variety of events attended by around 10,000 people of all ages, including talk shows, commemorative photo sessions, and a hands-on coloring experience for children. We would like to thank the project members and everyone who participated, including those who attended the special exhibit at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, the seventh and last stop on KIROBO and MIRATA’s journey. This is the end of a project that we started back in 2012, but by using what we’ve learned, we will continue to strive for a world in which robots and humans can coexist.
